Job Summary
KFDA, Newschannel10, the market leader, is looking for a Morning Show Reporter to join our winning team here in Amarillo, Texas. This position will perform daily live shots, breaking news coverage, and serve as a backup anchor for the AM newscast. It is a fast‑paced role with tight deadlines that requires the ability to think on one’s feet. The right candidate will be a good storyteller who can perform creative live shots with clear and concise delivery.

Responsibilities
This position will perform daily live shots, breaking news coverage, and serve as backup anchor for the AM newscast.

Qualifications

Ability to shoot and edit video, and effectively communicate live on‑air

Flexibility in scheduling to respond to the changing news landscape

A four‑year degree in journalism or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
