Successful playwright based in Brooklyn Heights seeks full-time Executive Assistant to help run her professional and personal lives. The principal is in-demand and needs someone sharp, discreet, and highly organized who can take ownership of communications, scheduling, and logistics so she can focus on her work. Assistant will be involved in a range of outsourced arenas, both big and small, including ongoing communications with agents, industry contacts, family staff, and vendors. Also: optimizing her time for productive writing, strategic planning, house management, coordination with the family calendar, errands and whatever else needs to be done. NDA required.
Requirements
BA/BS from competitive US college or equivalent
Minimum 4 years’ experience as Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or Operations
Exceptional writing and verbal communication
Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
Strong tech skills; IT fluency a plus
Discreet, trustworthy, and professional in all interactions
Good taste and genuine interest in the creative world
Responsibilities
Manage all email including drafting and responding on behalf of the principal
Strategic calendar to optimize creative output and self-care; coordination with family calendar
Interface with agents, producers, press contacts, and industry professionals
Liaise with household staff
Track progress across multiple simultaneous projects
Plan and book travel in conjunction with detailed itineraries
Handle RSVPs, event coordination, and social commitments
House Management, identify vendors and oversee repairs
Keep and improve systems and procedures
Procure and manage office and home supplies
Anticipate Principal’s need without ongoing directives
Research projects as needed, both professional and personal
Errands
M-F 9am‑5pm, onsite/remote blend
$110K–$120K/year (varies with experience)
