SDPB Broadcast Operations Technician (Temporary)

South Dakota Public Broadcasting is a statewide, joint radio and television network and South Dakota’s NPR and PBS affiliates. The role is to operate and monitor television and radio transmitting equipment, read meters, observe transmitter components and other equipment for possible problems, assist in minor maintenance of broadcast equipment, and switch video and audio sources.

General Requirements
Ability to work independently without continuous supervision.

Other Information
Position is 24 hours per week. The schedule requires some evenings and overnight shifts in a climate‑controlled room. This is a temporary, non‑benefited position, exempt from civil service.
