CalArts CAP Lead Instructors work with up to 2 CAIs to teach a 6-10 week residency in a specific artform for TK–6 students at CAP partner sites in Santa Clarita, CA. You will create and implement lesson plans and collaborate with students, teachers, staff, and CalArts colleagues.
Leads may teach multiple classes daily, mentor CAIs, attend trainings, log hours, and coordinate culminating events with the CAP Program Manager. Minimum BA or BFA in an arts discipline; MA/MFA preferred.
