Position Overview
Instructor Pool – THEATRE (Terminal, Fixed Term). The role serves as a potential instructor for undergraduate and/or graduate courses within the Theatre & Dance department of UW-La Crosse. Responsibilities include teaching, curriculum development, student assessment, advisory duties, and other departmental service as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.

Develop instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.

Serve as the initial point of contact for students regarding specific course or series content and expectations.

Maintain currency in the content area related to teaching assignment, evaluate student work, assess student outcomes, provide feedback, maintain records, and hold office hours.

Advise students and provide other service to the department as needed.

Required Qualifications

Master’s Degree in a field appropriate to the needs of the department, or significant progress toward a doctorate degree, or, in rare circumstances, post‑baccalaureate certification or licensure, or a baccalaureate plus experience (as appropriate). Certification/licensure or clinical experience may be required depending on the program.
