Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Execute reliability and environmental stress testing using chambers (e.g., temperature, humidity, life testing)

Perform parametric and functional testing of PDs and VCSELs devices

Set up and maintain test fixtures, stress boards, and chamber hardware configurations

Coordinate with equipment engineering and service contractors to support tool maintenance, repair, and calibration

Partner with reliability engineering to implement and execute qualification plans and test flows

Collect, organize, and perform preliminary analysis of test data using tools such as Excel or JMP

Track qualification materials through reliability test flows across manufacturing and lab environments

Maintain accurate documentation of test conditions, results, and sample status

Education & Experience

Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum 2+ years of experience in semiconductor, reliability, or laboratory testing environments

Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). JMP proficiency desired.

Ability to interpret electrical and optical test data

Hands‑on experience with lab/test equipment (e.g., chambers, microscopes, parametric testers) preferred

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple test programs simultaneously

Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem‑solving skills.

Working Conditions

Work full-time in a Class 100/1000 cleanroom environment

Required to wear full cleanroom attire (gown, gloves, mask, etc.)

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time)

Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend and twist to gown up in cleanroom attire

Manual dexterity required to handle wafers, dies, and delicate components

Safety Requirements
All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
