The role
The Advertising Operations Specialist which has a focus on Customer Success & Key Accounts Support is a mixed role between managing publisher portfolios while ensuring customer satisfaction and providing tech support for all Tiers of publishers. This role has a clear focus on providing maximum product value realization, and revenue growth through technical support, strategic account management, and proactive churn prevention.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management: Regular communication with publishers to understand needs, deliver solutions, and drive retention through proactive churn risk identification and mitigation.
Ticket Resolution: Handle escalated 1st-level technical issues (GAM auction failures, Prebid conflicts, MCM sync errors, revenue leakage) across all tiers.
Technical Support & Optimization: Monitor performance metrics (fill rates, RPM, latency, IVT); troubleshoot GAM line items, header-bidding tweaks, and ads.txt maintenance; adjust floor prices and frequency caps, and implement new solutions, test, and troubleshoot.
Account Growth: Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, conduct business reviews, and expand inventory.
Onboarding Support: Streamline new publisher onboarding (GAM setup, header bidding config, SSP integrations).
Product Education: Train publishers on new ad formats, Google AdX/TAM features, Prebid advancements, and industry trends to boost revenue.
Feedback & Reporting: Collect customer insights, generate portfolio reports, analyze performance data, and share actionable feedback with internal teams.
Strategic Execution: Align operational strategies with publisher goals, monitor execution, and continuously optimize for yield improvement.

Requirements
Substantive and demonstrable Ad Operations/Account Management experience
Deep technical knowledge: Google AdX, Prebid/header bidding, GAM (Order/Line Item creation, trafficking, reporting), Amazon TAM
Basic Ad Tech industry knowledge (IAB standards, compliance frameworks)
Proven ability to resolve 1st-level technical escalations
Strong analytical/research skills, process creation for publisher yield optimization
Strategic thinking, with the ability to balance day-to-day delivery with long-term operational improvements
Problem-solving, ability to identify issues, assess root causes, and implement effective solutions
Must have a good working level of English, to C1 level on the European framework of languages.
