Painter (PM Shift)

Pay: $30.00 per hour.
Job Summary

As a representative for our company, you will be precise and detail oriented in your work with a professional and customer oriented attitude. Responsible for mixing, matching and applying paint to various surfaces, completing touchups and helping to coordinate large painting projects.
Essential Functions

Preparation of surfaces to receive paint and other finishes and treatments
Interior and exterior wall painting and repair
Door and window frame painting
Wall paper removal and wall board repair
Tape and mud drywall
Match paint and texture
Wood deck and furniture refinishing, painting and staining
Ceiling grid and tile painting
Epoxy painting
Building paint log set up
Clean room painting
Patch and sand in a timely and efficient manner
Know brushing, rolling, taping and topping
Safely use powered equipment such as paint sprayers and power washers
Clean all equipment including brushes, rollers, spray rigs, cup guns, texturing hoppers
Knowledge and Skills

Strong customer service skills
Basic painting tools
Works well with others and follows guidelines
Provide proof of work status eligibility
Reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license
Compliance with company safety policies and procedures
Professional, precise and detail oriented
Education and Work Experience

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Journeyman Painters – Minimum 6+ years experience
Work Environment

Must wear safety glasses while performing certain tasks
Fast paced work environment
Moderate noise level
Exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, paint and noise
Regularly exposed to office and shop environments
Physical Demands

Stand, walk, sit for long periods
Occasionally lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds of equipment
Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
Reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
