Role Overview
As a Professional Sports Scaffolding Crew Leader, you will supervise and build scaffolds with a 5‑man crew at professional venues such as football and soccer stadiums, baseball fields, tennis courts, golf courses, hockey rinks, and racetracks. You will lead the crew, act as the designated driver, and manage travel between jobs while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Supervise and build scaffolds, staging, and/or install seating; deconstruct projects after the event.

Lead a crew of no more than 5 employees and travel together from job to job.

Serve as the designated driver for the crew’s vehicle.

Work full time, consistently and year‑round; no uncertainty about upcoming assignments.

Work outdoors in sunny, fresh‑air environments.

Handle overnight travel and be away from home for 90+ days at a time.

Travel accommodations and hotel lodging are arranged by InProduction; two crew members share a room.

Work can lead to growth opportunities such as Foreman or Project Manager.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

Build and break down scaffolds, install ladders, walkways and handrails.

Assist in the safe and efficient installation and removal of equipment per project plans.

Inspect all scaffold components prior to assembly.

Clean and prepare construction sites, removing debris and materials.

Load and unload equipment and materials from trucks and vehicles.

Study plans and equipment lists before on‑site installation.

Ensure safety measures are followed and proper protective gear is used.

Maintain fall protection requirements during erecting or dismantling.

Keep tools and equipment cleaned and maintained after each shift.

Ensure client satisfaction regarding quality, service and schedule.

Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Background check and drug screening required.

Valid driver’s license preferred, with a good driving record.

Familiarity with basic hand tools, drills, saws, hammers, etc.

Comfortable with heights.

Creative problem‑solver able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve company goals.

Able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Must be able to read and understand basic safety instructions.

Candidates must have scaffolding experience.

Must be capable of working overtime.

Preferred but not required: bilingual (English/Spanish).

Compensation
$24–$28 hourly.
