The Denver Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Denver Public Schools (DPS) students to achieve their post‑secondary education goals. The organization works directly in DPS high schools and on multiple college campuses to support students through the entire college journey. This includes helping students explore options, navigate applications, secure financial aid, and persist through graduation. Team members contribute to creating equitable access to education and long‑term success for DPS students and their families.

Role Description
The Bilingual Digital Marketing and Social Media Coordinator is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Denver, CO. This position manages the organization’s social media channels, creates bilingual (English/Spanish) digital content, and supports campaigns that engage DPS students, families, partners, and donors. Day‑to‑day tasks include planning and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement and responding to comments and messages, gathering stories from students and staff, and optimizing content for different platforms. The coordinator collaborates with program and development teams to align digital messaging with organizational goals, tracks basic analytics to measure impact, and helps maintain brand consistency across all digital communications.

Qualifications

Ability to create and manage bilingual (English/Spanish) digital content, including social media posts, graphics, and short‑form video.

Experience coordinating social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn) and using scheduling or analytics tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to adapt tone for student, family, and donor audiences.

Basic knowledge of digital marketing principles, such as audience targeting, engagement strategies, and campaign support.

Organizational and project coordination skills, including ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate across teams.

Commitment to equity in education and comfort working with diverse students, families, and community partners.

Proficiency with common office and design tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; familiarity with Canva or similar design platforms preferred).

Prior experience in nonprofit, education, or community‑focused work is beneficial; associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field is preferred but not required.
