Overview
As a Copywriter within CoLab, you’ll play a key role in shaping creative content that is clear, compelling, and strategically aligned with brand and therapeutic goals. Building on foundational experience (typically 2+ years) you’ll begin to take on larger assignments and contribute to projects from start to finish with increasing independence.

You’ll continue developing your craft while exploring brand voice, visual language, and conceptual thinking—supported by a collaborative team environment that values inclusivity, mentorship, and creative growth.

Responsibilities

Write clear, concise, and well‑organized copy across a variety of formats and channels, using AI responsibly

Translate creative briefs into thoughtful, engaging concepts with moderate guidance

Apply brand voice with growing fluency

Accurately annotate projects for fact‑checking and referencing

Perform correction checks and revisions independently

Contribute to projects from concept through execution, collaborating with art directors and cross‑functional teams

Communicate proactively with project managers and creative leads to manage workload and expectations

Track time accurately and ensure timely submission of timesheets

Participate in team culture by offering feedback, supporting peers, and embracing inclusive values

Demonstrate emotional self‑awareness and openness to feedback

Support and contribute to the team’s creative vision with enthusiasm and professionalism

Comfortable working in a deadline‑driven environment, with flexibility to support occasional weekend work during launches and key project deadlines

Qualifications

2–4 years of agency copywriting experience in health wellness, oncology, medical writing, with a strong scientific background in medicine, pharma, anatomy, or a related field

HCP writing experience is required, DTC experience is a plus

Strong writing and conceptual skills, with attention to detail and clarity

Ability to adapt writing to different formats, audiences, and brand voices

Experience working within regulated industries or healthcare communications preferred

Demonstrated growth in creative thinking and storytelling

Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Commitment to personal development, team values, and inclusivity principles

Responsibly leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency while applying critical thinking to refine and elevate storytelling

Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline‑driven environment, with flexibility to support occasional weekend work during launches and critical project deadlines

Compensation Range: USD $66,120.00 - USD $101,790.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) program after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
