We’re looking for a creative, motivated, and dependable Content Creation Assistant to help bring our dealerships and community involvement to life through engaging social media content.

If you enjoy creating videos, taking photos, staying on top of social media trends, and want to build your marketing portfolio while gaining real‑world experience, we’d love to meet you.

Schedule & Work Location
This position is based primarily at our Bethesda location but requires travel to our dealership locations in Bethesda, Silver Spring, Ellicott City, and Clarksville.

Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between stores.

Jim Coleman Automotive participates in approximately 10‑15 community and dealership events annually, with 4‑5 occurring on evenings and/or weekends. Candidates should be available to assist with these events as needed.

Primary Responsibilities
Content Creation

Capture high‑quality photo and video content at dealership locations and community events

Film vehicle walk‑arounds, employee spotlights, dealership activities, customer deliveries, and behind‑the‑scenes content

Create engaging Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and other short‑form video content

Edit videos using CapCut or similar editing software

Create graphics using Canva or similar design platforms

Organize and maintain photo and video libraries

Social Media Support

Upload completed content to the content calendar for management approval

Schedule approved content for publication

Assist in maintaining an organized content calendar

Stay up to date with social media trends and creative content ideas

Ensure content aligns with Jim Coleman Automotive’s brand standards

Community Events

Attend dealership events, sponsorships, career fairs, charity events, and community partnerships

Capture photo and video content during events

Assist with event setup and breakdown when needed

Help showcase Jim Coleman Automotive’s involvement within the community

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is:

Creative and passionate about content creation and social media

Comfortable using a smartphone or camera to capture high‑quality photo and video content

Organized with strong attention to detail

Self‑motivated and able to manage multiple projects

Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team

Friendly, professional, and eager to learn

Reliable and dependable

Preferred Experience

CapCut or similar video editing software

Canva or similar graphic design software

Photography and/or videography

Social media content creation

Meta Business Suite (preferred but not required)

Helps maintain an organized content calendar
