Compensation and Benefits
Annual salary range $290,000.00 – $490,000.00 with the option to allocate earnings between salary and stock units. Responsibilities
- Game Production Leadership : Lead major initiatives, titles, and franchises, ensuring game excellence, production rigor, and alignment with portfolio objectives.
- Primary Point of Contact : Serve as the main liaison for game development teams, collaborating on project and milestone schedules, risk management, and overall development plans.
- Roadmap and Schedule Creation : Develop and drive full‑lifecycle project roadmaps, schedules, and quality standards, ensuring alignment with broader portfolio and quality goals.
- Milestone Assessment : Evaluate milestones, review and evaluate game builds across design, creative, development, and production progress, and synthesize stakeholder feedback into actionable steps.
- Problem Solving and Risk Management : Maintain a comprehensive risk register, identify risks early, resolve obstacles, and close outstanding issues promptly.
- Team Empowerment : Inspire and guide development teams toward continuous improvement, fostering a communicative, transparent, and motivated culture.
- Strategic Focus : Demonstrate a deep understanding of portfolio objectives and align project and team efforts with strategic goals.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in Video Game Production, preferably spanning both publishing and development.
- Track record of shipping multiple AA (or larger) games from R&D through live operations.
- Strong understanding of game development processes, including design, programming, art, and audio.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills to assess project progress and identify improvement areas.
- Creative problem‑solving abilities to proactively mitigate developmental obstacles.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and influencing without authority.
- Experience building and maintaining a positive, productive team environment.
- Consistent demonstration of sound judgment in decision‑making.
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
- Understanding of realistic project scope and ability to make cost‑effective decisions without compromising quality.
- Understanding of quality assurance processes and commitment to high production standards.
- Knowledge of release management processes, especially for first‑party platforms.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, player preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to work effectively with diverse international teams.
- Genuine love of games and informed perspective on what makes them great and important to players.
