SCTU RN PD day shift

Job Summary

The Specialty Care Transport (SCT) Nurse provides high‑quality nursing care during patient transports between designated facilities, leading the multidisciplinary care team and ensuring a healing environment for patients and families.
Location & Schedule

Location: Voorhees – 106 Carnie Blvd.
Type: On‑site, Per Diem, Part time.
Shift: Day Shift, 12 hours.
Total weekly hours: 0.
Hourly Rate

$60.05.
Position Responsibilities

Perform patient assessment and deliver appropriate treatment according to established protocols and the medical command during all transports.
Lead the multi‑disciplinary care team as the crew leader.
Completely document patient assessment, treatment, response to treatment and transfer of care after each incident.
Respond accurately and efficiently to all quality assurance requests.
Manage rapidly changing situations, applying standard precautions and patient safety principles.
Maintain Virtua equipment and property safely, cleanly and securely.
Conduct vehicle and equipment checks at the start of each shift and keep the SCTU ready for service at all times.
Position Qualifications

Minimum of one year nursing experience; preferred experience in an Emergency Department or Critical Care Unit.
Strong critical‑thinking skills; capable of autonomous work and teamwork during patient care delivery.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred.
Must hold a Registered Nurse license in the State of New Jersey, a valid driver’s license, and current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications required; Current CCRN or CEN certification preferred.
