Netflix’s Content Finance & Strategy (F&S) team is looking for an Associate to join its team in its Hollywood office.
Responsibilities
Innovate and develop content performance metrics, frameworks, and insights
Analyze portfolio investment and performance to develop short‑and-long‑term content planning
Guide Netflix’s content launch strategy and deepen understanding of title audiences
Set the strategy and structure for external data sharing
Execute market research and competitive trends analysis
Run valuation and financial models to inform content deals, particularly for high‑investment opportunities and emerging content areas
Spearhead special projects for senior Netflix leaders and develop recommendations on key strategic issues
Streamline and manage key analytical operations and reporting
Partner closely with Data Science & Engineering across these efforts
Qualifications
2‑4 years of work experience
Passion for Content / Entertainment
Experience conducting quantitative analysis (including modeling) and qualitative analysis, and can drive to insight and results using data
Excellent communication/presentation skills with a track record of presenting complex analysis to executives/senior management clearly and concisely
Strong initiative and ability to work independently, thrives in a fast‑paced, always‑changing environment
Highly intellectually curious and has the courage to challenge the status quo
Exhibits the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides
Due to the nature and scope of this role, we will need to run a background check prior to starting with us.
Compensation
Compensation for this role consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top‑of‑market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $180,000.00 – $275,000.00.
