Digital Content Producer

Music Theater Heritage · Kansas City, MO, USA ·

Pay:
$22-$26/hr
Job type:
Full Time

Position Summary
MTH is seeking a highly creative and digitally fluent Content Producer with a strong focus on photography, video capture, social media content, and visual storytelling.

This is not a traditional marketing position. We are looking for someone who is excited by live performance, rehearsal rooms, education programs, backstage energy, and the day-to-day life of a busy producing theater company.

One day you may be filming a rehearsal, the next capturing opening night backstage, interviewing artists, documenting summer camps, or producing a reel that reaches thousands of theater lovers. If you love telling stories through compelling visual content, you'll fit right in.

This role offers significant creative autonomy. The ideal candidate is proactive, visually sharp, fast-moving, collaborative, comfortable working independently, and deeply familiar with contemporary social media culture and content creation. We are less interested in formal marketing experience and more interested in strong creative instincts, technical competence, and evidence of engaging digital work.

Because we are a producing theater company, this position regularly includes evenings and weekends during productions, concerts, rehearsals, and special events. Flexibility is essential.

This position is expected to average approximately 25–30 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate.
