Position
The Warehouse / Packaging Senior Technician position is available at our Animal Health facility located in De Soto, Kansas, near the Kansas City metropolitan area. The DeSoto facility is expanding operations to manufacture vaccines and biologics for large and companion animals and leverages an experienced and innovative team environment.

Key Technologies
Biologics production using fermentation and cell culture platforms, filling and packaging.

Responsibilities

Work independently and as part of the team to contribute to the daily completion and schedule adherence of production activities.

Carry out day‑to‑day production activities of sealed bottle label application, bottle packaging, palletization, process document completion, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation.

Demonstrate good attention to detail and achieve consistent error‑free execution of daily job responsibilities.

Complete documentation using Good Documentation Practices and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Employ basic problem‑solving skills.

Assist in training new team members.

Operate company forklift and pallet jack, and assist with equipment set‑up and operation.

Working Conditions

Third Shift Monday – Friday, work hours are 9:30 pm – 6:00 am.

Flexibility for overtime, including holidays, Saturdays and Sundays as business needs demand.

Travel is not part of this position.

Climate‑controlled and non‑climate‑controlled areas.

Required Education

High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

OR Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study.

Required Skills & Experience

Principled verbal and written communications and ability to effectively communicate information to colleagues at various levels.

Follow or comply with Manufacturing/Packaging Directions, Standard Operating Procedures, Company/Corporate/Regulatory Policies.

Effective time‑management skills to meet deadlines.

Work effectively with team members and show initiative to support others on the team.

Proficient with basic computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel.

Comfortable with overtime as needed.

Assist in training new team members.

Operate company forklift and pallet jack.

Assist with equipment set‑up and operation.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience working in a manufacturing/packaging environment.

Understanding of aseptic processes used in manufacturing/packaging.

Experience with quality improvement tools and continuous improvement processes and site quality metrics.

Experience with SAP or other ERP system.

Compensation
Salary range: $59,100 – $93,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
