Job Summary
Director, Strategic Accounts – leading a group of individuals who oversee various aspects of a large client’s health plan. The Director will collaborate with partners to identify opportunities for growth, implement relationship best practices, and drive value while ensuring partner satisfaction. This role reports to the Customer Team.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team consisting of Associate Director and Account Manager level associates, providing ongoing direction, feedback and support.
Support an assigned book of business strategically to achieve objectives, including relationship development, growth, retention, and customer objectives.
Manage risks and develop opportunities associated with current clients.
Build productive, trusted relationships with key executives – including C‑level – and internal and external stakeholders.
Utilize data‑driven resources to run efficient and effective meetings and work sessions with the client and all relevant subject‑matter experts.
Possess working knowledge of Evolent products and services and articulate the value proposition at a high level.
Develop best‑in‑class presentation strategies, narratives, and content to support external meetings with senior stakeholders.
Lead regular partnership review meetings for each client, including strategic account planning, relationship mapping, competitive market analysis and issue management.
Advocate for partner culture, serve as an ambassador within Evolent and as the go‑to expert on client priorities.
Aggressively manage all aspects of the contracts with assigned clients, ensuring ongoing contract performance through risk management activities, assurance of service‑level agreement performance, rate/savings maximization, and adherence to the client’s legal and regulatory environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years in client or account management leadership roles.
5+ years of broad‑based Health Plan experience.
Ability to find creative solutions in an ever‑changing and growing environment.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including at the C‑level.
Exceptionally high “Emotional Intelligence” and ability to connect with diverse constituents, actively listen, and identify key areas of sensitivity.
Travel Requirements
40% within the US and US Territories.
Technical Requirements
High‑speed internet over 10Mbps. For call‑center employees, the ability to plug directly into the home internet router at home.

Compensation
Expected base salary range: $125,000‑$135,000. All compensation determinations are based on skills and experience required for the position and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
