Economics Nonfiction Editor Acquisitions & Strategy

Hachette-Livre is seeking an experienced Editor based in New York to acquire primarily in economics and business. The role includes setting editorial strategy, acquiring approximately 10 books annually, and collaborating with various teams to ensure publication success.
The ideal candidate will have strong editing skills, 5+ years of experience, and a broad knowledge of nonfiction publishing categories. Employees are expected to work on-site three days per week in a hybrid model.
