The Area Marketing Coordinator assists with the development, implementation and management of online marketing programs, websites, social media, SEO, content, and related programs. Coordinates with outside digital agencies and property staff to ensure all program objectives are achieved and revenue is maximized. The ideal candidate demonstrates enthusiasm and passion for all facets of marketing. Works with designated hotels to create branded and unique property identities with forward‑looking positioning statements, supported with online and offline content and initiatives that develop the hotels identity.
Responsibilities
Assist management of online presence with an emphasis on creating unique and engaging content for branded hotel websites, vanity websites, and third‑party sites
Work with designated hotels and agencies to ensure that websites are optimized using current best practices for SEO
Execute on‑going email marketing campaigns for designated hotels and restaurants
Support in content creation, scheduling, engagement, and influencer collaborations across all designated hotel and restaurant social media accounts
Assist in promotional package/campaign creation and execution including messaging, strategy, and partnerships
Support development and implementation of public relations initiatives and programs that reinforce identity and positioning, with execution in a timely manner
Utilize current reporting from agencies and third‑party sources to drive improved content, PR initiatives, and decisions
Assist designated hotels and restaurants with graphic designs for signage and collateral, while managing print orders for all departments
Support planning and execution of designated hotel and restaurant activations, including occasional evening and weekend events
Support menu launches for designated restaurants including, but not limited to, menu design, digital updates, photoshoots, etc.
Continuously build relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and residents to support property partnerships and collaborations
Education and Training
A four‑year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
Experience
Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a marketing position or related. Hospitality experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge and Skills
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and multi‑tasking skills
Creative skills in photography, videography, editing, and content creation for social media and website
Proficient in graphic design through Canva, Adobe InDesign, or other related programs
Event management and planning experience
Website management experience through WordPress, Cendyn, and Clover by BentoBox preferred, but not required
Strong copywriting skills with understanding of SEO
Experience in email campaign strategy, creation, and analytics
Physical Demands

USD $23.00 - $25.00 per hour.
