The Role of a CorePower Yoga Studio Coordinator
As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you support the world class CorePower Yoga studio experience including coordinating studio operations and maintaining the highest health and safety standards. In alignment with our Core Values, you work alongside the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustained growth toward all current company and studio‑level goals. This SC role is a full‑time, entry‑level position that will allow you to learn the business and develop the skillset to operate a studio.

Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience

Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga core values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others

Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio‑level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment

Commit to 32‑40 hours in‑studio per week of operations coordination and teaching (if certified), including health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support

Serve as the studio‑level point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present

Maintain an appropriate level of studio supply inventory so that all provisions and amenities are available for students at all times, including cleanliness inventory, locker room amenities, towels, programming materials, etc.

Engage and know your studio community consistently; greet students by name, serve as an ambassador of yoga both inside and outside of the studio, and spend quality time at the front desk fostering community

Support our teachers’ learning experience of working the POS and other pre/post‑class duties

Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety, and Cleanliness Protocol in the Studio

Uphold high standards for the studio and, when on duty, ensure that the physical studio space meets the high CPY standards of cleanliness and functionality, including a safe environment, optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and clean and clutter‑free surroundings in all areas of the studio

Support communication around Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit at CPY

Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET) including cleaning the studio, stocking amenities, and ensuring the CPY cleanliness protocol is always followed while on duty

When scheduled at the studio, support coordination of the SET, including shift scheduling, stepping in for no‑call
o‑shows, and training

Lead orientation for new SET members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations

Act as a liaison between the Studio Manager and the teaching and SET teams in training, communicating and coordinating studio operational systems, including:

Point of Sales System (POS); understand and efficiently navigate POS to sign students in, sell packages and memberships, and explore and correct problems with student accounts when at the desk

Online Reservation System; support administrative follow‑up of late‑cancel fees, waitlist, student support, etc.

Subbing Application; support training and usage for teaching team

HRIS Application; support training and usage for teaching and SET team

Help Desk; submit facilities tickets when on duty and communicate follow‑up needs to Studio Manager

Teaching Schedule
Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6 CorePower Yoga classes per week and subbing additional classes as needed.

Skills & Experience

Demonstrated CorePower Yoga core values

Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills required

Experience in customer service required

Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200‑hour program preferred

Yoga Sculpt teacher training preferred

Familiar and comfortable with studio systems such as the HRIS, intranet, point‑of‑sale systems, company scheduling and payroll systems, etc.

Ability to build relationships with individuals across diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority

Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines

Proven self‑starter with ability to take on new projects with enthusiasm

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel

College (BA/BS) preferred

The Fine Print

Availability must match the needs of the business and leadership zig‑zag schedules – morning, evening, weekend and some holiday availability and flexibility required

Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.

If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach a class with little to no notice while scheduled in the studio
