About the Internship
This is an unpaid internship. Candidates must be eligible to receive college credit as compensation for the internship. Candidates selected to move forward will need to submit proof of eligibility to receive academic credit for their time interning with THE TEAM, and will be disqualified if they are unable to do so.
Responsibilities
Help ideate & create athlete social media content and maintain detailed knowledge of the team sports landscape.
Help pitch for branded content partnerships for athletes, including assisting with concept ideation, social post copywriting, and creating pitch decks.
Assist with reporting on social media analytics, talent vetting, and agency roster management.
Assist with team tasks and special projects as needed.
Requirements
Must be able to earn college credit for an internship.
Full time commitment of approximately 20 hours per week.
Understanding of all social media platforms and their functions.
Strong interest in and knowledge of the sports industry, preferably following professional athletes on social media.
Prior marketing or sports industry experience preferred.
Video production and editing experience preferred.
Organized, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, enthusiastic; professional attitude, initiative, good communication skills.
Strong writing skills, copywriting, design, and/or social media management experience strongly preferred.
Pacific Time‑zone candidates only.
Los Angeles based candidates preferred.
The internship program runs between September 9, 2026 - December 11, 2026.
