Position Title: Program Management, Planning & Scheduling Professional.
Location: McKinney, TX, USA. Role Type: Onsite. Eligibility: U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance required prior to start date.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and analyze the Program Master Phasing Schedule (PMPS) and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule (IMP/IMS), ensuring accurate and effective planning.
Perform analysis of critical path, risk integration, IMS structure, and evaluate trends and schedule‑related metrics.
Review and implement IMS coding, outlining structures, and adherence to directives and scheduling best practices.
Assist the lead scheduler/planner or independently manage scheduling for smaller or more complex efforts.
Understand program technical and programmatic solutions and partner with the program team to integrate solutions into the IMS baseline plan.
Lead the creation and maintenance of compliant Integrated Master Schedules based on customer requirements.
Ensure program plans and IMS are developed consistent with IPDS and program lifecycle.
Review IMS planned work for accuracy, identifying missing or improperly planned work.
Use and recommend supplemental program management plans/artifacts (HUM, MPS, First Unit Flow) to support the program team.
Conduct and explain Schedule Risk Analysis results to program teams, integrate mitigation plans into the IMS, and incorporate schedule risks into the Risk Management process with the support of a Schedule Risk Analysis SME.
Provide weekly and monthly planning metrics, schedule status, baseline maintenance, critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis, and network logic validation, employing appropriate Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes.
Mentor and train junior planners.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of Program Planning or Scheduling or Project Management experience, or an advanced degree and at least 5 years of related experience.
Experience with scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar.
Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and/or evaluating critical path and workflow.
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or a similar business process.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate the integration and maintenance of technical, schedule, and cost information in an IMS within an EVMS environment.
Ability to understand program technical and programmatic solutions and lead their integration and modelling into the IMS.
Ability to interpret and analyze Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) results, schedule risk/opportunity drivers, and schedule probability of success.
Strong collaboration skills with Planning and functional organization SMEs to support program teams.
Understanding of hardware and software development life cycles, and exposure to agile methodologies.
Capability to manage, lead, teach, and support proper scheduling and EVMS techniques for teams of varying size and background.
Strong communication skills, problem‑solving ability, and a focus on process improvement.
Benefits
Compensation ranges from $107,500 to $204,500 USD.
