Job Description
The Sr. Specialist, BA Digital Asset Management, serves as a recognized subject‑matter expert in digital asset management, Adobe AEM Assets, and enterprise content storage. This role supports the design, configuration, governance, and continuous improvement of a scalable DAM capability that enables content findability, reuse, traceability, rights visibility, and compliant asset lifecycle management across the content supply chain.
The position has a strong focus on Adobe AEM Assets, including asset intake, folder structure, metadata standards, taxonomy, tagging, permissions, source file storage, asset lifecycle governance, and integration touchpoints with Workfront, Veeva PromoMats, Adobe Creative Cloud, Firefly, GenStudio, and downstream content activation channels. The individual will translate business and operational needs into practical DAM requirements, operating procedures, configuration inputs, and user guidance that improve content discoverability, reuse, and operational consistency.
This role reports to the Director, Content Creation & Storage.
Required Experience & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in digital asset management, content operations, content storage, metadata governance, or related platform operations within complex enterprise environments.
Hands‑on experience with Adobe AEM Assets is required, including asset ingestion, metadata schemas, folder structures, permissions, tagging, search, asset lifecycle management, or DAM configuration support.
Experience defining or maintaining taxonomy, metadata standards, naming conventions, rights management attributes, source file requirements, and governance practices that enable asset findability and reuse.
Understanding of how DAM capabilities connect to upstream and downstream systems such as Workfront, Veeva PromoMats, Adobe Creative Cloud, Firefly, GenStudio, and activation channels.
Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into DAM requirements, operating procedures, user guidance, testing scenarios, and practical implementation recommendations.
Experience supporting asset migration, bulk upload, metadata quality reviews, user acceptance testing, issue resolution, user enablement, or hyper‑care activities.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across marketing, creative, agency, operations, product, technology, compliance, and data teams.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on simplifying content storage, improving searchability, and enabling scalable reuse.
Necessary Competencies
Deep digital asset management expertise, including content storage, taxonomy, metadata, tagging, permissions, rights visibility, and asset lifecycle governance.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe AEM Assets and how DAM capabilities enable content findability, reuse, traceability, and compliant operations.
Ability to document practical DAM requirements, operating procedures, user journeys, test scenarios, and support processes.
Strong advisory, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills across business, creative, agency, product, technology, data, and compliance teams.
Ability to lead discrete workstreams through influence, coordination, documentation discipline, and dependable execution.
Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on simplification, standardization, user adoption, governance, and continuous improvement.
Education Minimum Requirement
Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, digital marketing, library sciences, technology, life sciences, or a related field required.
Key Accountabilities
Provide expert guidance on Adobe AEM Assets, DAM operating practices, asset lifecycle management, taxonomy, metadata, permissions, rights visibility, and content storage standards.
Advise stakeholders on practical DAM design decisions, governance trade‑offs, metadata quality, content findability, and ways of working that enable reuse and compliant asset management.
Support definition and validation of AEM Assets requirements, including folder structures, metadata schemas, tagging rules, asset types, user roles, permissions, search, reporting, and support processes.
Support testing, UAT, defect resolution, migration readiness, bulk upload planning, user enablement, documentation, and hyper‑care activities to ensure the DAM is usable and operationally sustainable.
Maintain and improve DAM standards for metadata completeness, taxonomy usage, naming conventions, source file storage, rights attributes, and asset lifecycle status.
Leverage AI capabilities for automated tagging.
Partner with taxonomy, data, content operations, and platform teams to align AEM Assets with enterprise metadata standards and upstream/downstream system requirements.

Benefits
Salary range: $117,000.00 - $184,200.00.
Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
