Strategic Communications Specialist

Strategic Communications Specialist Location: San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities Develop an overall picture of the client’s current structure, day‑to‑day operations, and outcomes.
Facilitate discussions and workshops with stakeholders and engineering professionals to identify areas of improvement.
Present a roadmap for transformation, detailing expected results and pathways to achieve them.
Qualifications 7+ years of experience in strategic communications or project management.
7+ years of experience in engineering or science management, operations research analysis, or financial or cost analysis.
3+ years of supporting DoN organizations such as Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Mission Systems.
Experience with Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to author high‑quality briefings and respond to data calls.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with executive‑level clients.
Detail‑oriented, flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
Collaboration across multiple client organizations or teams.
Secret clearance required.
Bachelor’s degree in a Business field.
Nice to Have Process improvement or strategic planning experience.
DoW acquisition experience.MS Project, MS Visio, or Tableau experience.
Knowledge of DoW systems engineering.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Compensation The projected annualized salary range for this position is $77,600 to $176,000 USD.
