Job Summary
The Social Media Specialist will support the execution and growth of Embrace’s organic social media channels and influencer marketing programs. This role involves content planning and publishing, community engagement, performance tracking, and managing relationships with influencers and creators. You will work closely with the Brand Media & Content Manager to drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition through social‑first strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Organic Social Media Management

Plan, schedule, and publish content across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).

Monitor daily performance, engagement, and audience growth across channels.

Manage community engagement, including responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and brand‑appropriate manner.

Conduct regular competitive and trend analysis to identify opportunities for content innovation.

Maintain a social content calendar aligned with brand campaigns, seasonal moments, and educational pet content.

Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to develop engaging, on‑brand content.

Influencer & Creator Management

Identify, vet, and recruit influencers and creators aligned with the Embrace brand.

Support outreach, contracting, and onboarding of influencer partners.

Manage day‑to‑day communication with influencers, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within guidelines.

Track and report on influencer campaign performance, including engagement, reach, and conversions.

Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and legal approvals.

Reporting & Optimization

Compile weekly, monthly, and campaign‑level reports on social and influencer performance.

Analyze data to identify opportunities for improving engagement and content effectiveness.

Support testing and optimization efforts for content formats, messaging, and posting strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of experience managing social media accounts or influencer campaigns (internships included).

Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn) and social scheduling tools.

Strong written communication skills with an eye for brand voice and storytelling.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Experience with social analytics tools and basic reporting (native platforms, Sprout, etc. a plus).

Creative mindset with a passion for social trends, pets, and storytelling.
