National News Anchor - weekends

Position Overview
We are looking for a very experienced news anchor to provide top and bottom of the hour newscasts. This high profile position will cover news events (in-house) as needed, breaking news and anchor some local reports. Shift includes both weekend days and fill-in.

What You'll Do
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities:

Anchor top and bottom of the hour national newscasts.

Anchor multiple market local newscasts.

Breaking news coverage.

General newsroom responsibilities.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Extensive news radio experience.

Polished on-air delivery.

Proven track record of solid news work.

Strong journalism skills.

Highly experienced news writing background.

Ability to work in a fast paced but flexible environment.
