Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition: Client Services Director (Business Development & Marketing)Industry: Engineering / Forensics / Insurance ClaimsEmployment Type: Full-Time | ExemptReports To: Executive LeadershipOverview:We are seeking a Client Services Director to support business growth, strengthen client relationships, and lead marketing and client engagement initiatives. This role works closely with executive leadership and technical teams to identify new business opportunities, expand existing client partnerships, and ensure a high level of service delivery.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-driven business development and strategic marketing, without requiring experience managing a large national sales team. Title is intentionally broad and flexible based on experience.Key Responsibilities:Identify and pursue new business opportunities within engineering, forensics, and related industriesBuild, maintain, and grow strong relationships with clients, referral sources, and industry partnersRepresent the firm at client meetings, industry events, conferences, and seminarsSupport marketing initiatives and positioning efforts aligned with business growth goalsPartner with internal technical teams to ensure client expectations and service standards are metTrack and report on business development performance metrics and revenue goalsAssist leadership with recruiting and talent attraction efforts as neededSupport project workflow coordination to ensure responsiveness to client needsOversee temporary or supplemental staff during large-scale or catastrophic events, when applicableQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in business development, client services, marketing, or related rolesExperience within engineering, forensics, insurance claims, construction, or professional services strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationshipsStrong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation experienceAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlinesSkills & Competencies:Strategic relationship-building and networkingStrong organizational and time-management skillsProfessional judgment, discretion, and ethical standardsCustomer-focused mindset with a results-driven approachComfort working with executive leadership and technical professionalsProficiency with standard business software (Microsoft Office, document management tools, web platforms)Travel & Work Environment:Travel required for client meetings, conferences, and industry eventsWork performed in office, home office, and travel environmentsModerate physical activity may be required, including standing, walking, and lifting materials during events or site visitsCompensation:Compensation is flexible and experience-dependent, based on industry background, years of experience, and the strength of existing professional relationships.Base salary varies accordinglyPerformance-based bonus tied directly to annual revenue generatedBenefits package available
