Regional Editor

The Frederick News-Post and Ogden Newspapers are looking for an experienced community news editor to lead editorial operations across one of the most distinctive regions in the Mid-Atlantic — where Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia converge in an area defined by rapid growth, deep history, and readers who genuinely depend on local journalism.

This is a real editorial leadership role. You'll help oversee a flagship daily in Frederick, Maryland, plus two high-performing weekly papers, guiding a talented team while producing compelling work yourself. We're looking for someone who leads by example — a working editor who can coach reporters to their best work, spot the stories that matter, and think clearly about how community news must evolve to stay essential.
