Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a high-energy and engaging atmosphere for guests through music and performance onboard the cruise ship
Collaborate with other entertainment staff to ensure a seamless and entertaining experience for guests
Maintain a diverse and up-to-date music library to cater to a range of guest demographics
Utilize sound and lighting equipment to enhance the overall entertainment experience
Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking requests and engaging in conversation
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while performing
Assist with set-up and breakdown of equipment before and after performances
Stay up-to-date with current music trends and incorporate them into performances
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience as a DJ in a live entertainment setting
Knowledge of a wide range of music genres and ability to cater to diverse audiences
Proficient in using sound and lighting equipment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
