Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Stations of Our Quad Cities (WHBF - CBS, CW & KLJB - FOX) on the banks of the mighty Mississippi River in beautiful Quad Cities. We are seeking a SUPERSTAR News Producer. Our amazing work & play community is home to the world headquarters of John Deere. We are in central proximity to major metro areas including Chicago, Des Moines, Madison, and St. Louis. The News Producer produces daily newscast items, decides the order in which stories will be told, writes teases and other content, times news programs, edits video, and posts video to the website. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Produces newscasts for broadcast across all platformsWrites and orders news storiesApproves scriptsBalances news and feature content to create compelling broadcastsEdits videoWrites stories for the website and other eMedia platformsInteracts with viewers and users on social media sitesPerforms other duties as assigned Requirements & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experienceFluency in EnglishExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenMinimum two years’ experience in news operations (Depending on market size)Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipmentAbility to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyFlexibility to work any shift Pay Range: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (dependent on experience)Benefits: Our comprehensive benefits package includes, but not limited to, medical (with multiple plan options), dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) with company matching contributions, life insurance, Paid Parental Leave and more.To apply go to: https:/
