Volunteer Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketer and SEO Strategist to review and optimize our existing website for modern search, including Google AI driven results, 2026 era search behavior, and structured data best practices.

This role is ideal for a marketer who enjoys strategy, technical SEO, and mission driven work that directly improves child safety outcomes.

What You Will Do

Perform a full SEO audit of our existing website

Optimize site structure for AI search and semantic search visibility

Implement or refine FAQ content and FAQ schema markup

Evaluate content for entity based search, topic authority, and trust signals

Improve page level optimization including headings, internal linking, and search intent alignment

Align content with best practices for Google AI Overviews and future search results

Make recommendations for ongoing content strategy and site enhancements

What We Are Looking For

Experience with SEO strategy beyond basic keywords

Strong understanding of Google AI search, entity SEO, and structured data

Familiarity with FAQ schema and content hierarchy

Ability to explain recommendations clearly to a non technical nonprofit team

Respect for evidence based public safety messaging

Time Commitment
Flexible. Estimated fifteen to twenty hours total depending on scope and recommendations.

Impact
Your work will directly support child safety education nationwide by improving how parents and caregivers find accurate, life saving information online. This role influences real world safety decisions, not conversions or sales.

About Our Safety Stance
Parents for Window Blind Safety is a leader in window covering safety education. We do not collaborate with trade groups that promote voluntary compliance as sufficient protection. Our guidance focuses on removal of hazardous products and installation of cordless window coverings whenever possible. All site optimization must align with this position.
