Senior Account Manager, Commercial Insurance - Potential for Hybrid Work

Job Responsibilities

Review and analyze commercial accounts for coverage, limits, and other key elements; provide appropriate recommendations to clients.
Assess clients’ insurance objectives, critically analyze and compare insurance plans to determine suitability.
Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure all service needs are met.
Stay abreast of changes in the insurance industry and other external conditions that may impact clients; independently make recommendations in response to those changes.
Act as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve service issues, including negotiation with underwriters and carriers.
Assist with claims and billing issue troubleshooting.
Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads; contribute to departmental production goals.
Gather client information and prepare applications for submission to the Marketing Department for new and/or renewal coverage.
Prepare client proposals based on client needs, rates, and coverages.
Execute all transactions for assigned accounts, including applications, certificates of insurance, invoices, and forms.
Document conversations with clients and carrier representatives; update all HUB computer systems and automated agency management systems.
Maintain the accuracy of data in the agency management system.
Handle collections of premiums due, as necessary.
Conduct business in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of business and earnings implications of the Company.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications

Seven years of commercial lines insurance experience.
Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets.
Property and Casualty Insurance license.
Advanced professional designation highly desirable (e.g., ARM, CIC, CPCU).
High school diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Superior customer service and problem‑solving skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems.
Mastery of virtual technology, including meeting scheduling, video display, and screen sharing.
Ability to work in a team environment.
High level attention to detail, excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits

Expected salary range: $90,000 to $110,000.
