Senior Front-End Web Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract
We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate combines strong front-end expertise with full-stack development knowledge and a passion for creating intuitive, scalable user experiences. This role partners closely with designers, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver modern web solutions for enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using modern front-end technologies.
Build reusable UI components and JavaScript libraries to support scalable development.
Develop mobile-friendly, cross-browser compatible interfaces following responsive design best practices.
Integrate applications with REST APIs and backend services.
Optimize websites for performance, accessibility, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Develop and maintain CSS3 animations and interactive user experiences.
Create rapid prototypes and present website functionality and design concepts to stakeholders.
Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and support application deployments.
Utilize Git or other source control systems to manage code and collaborate with development teams.
Support website hosting, configuration, and deployment using IIS and Apache when needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Progressive experience in front-end web development.
Advanced proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, Ember.js, Bootstrap, Foundation, JSON.
Experience developing responsive and mobile-first web applications.
Strong understanding of browser compatibility, cross-browser testing, and web standards.
Experience consuming and developing REST APIs, AJAX, XML, and MVC frameworks.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and web optimization techniques.
Experience with Git, SVN, TFS, or other source control platforms.
Experience creating and executing unit tests.
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or similar graphic editing tools.
