We are looking for a Managing Director (m/f/d) at our location in Föritztal for KYOCERA AVX Components (Automation) GmbH.

Qualifications

University degree: in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business engineering, business administration or comparable field
Several years of professional experience: including a senior management or executive role within manufacturing, machinery or energy technology
Proven track record: in strategy, business development and organizational leadership
Skills: strong technical understanding of mechanical engineering and energy systems or related industries
Language skills: fluent in both German and English
Attributes: excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as hands‑on, decisive and results‑oriented personality

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for two companies:

special machinery engineering (~50 employees)
hydrogen electrolyzer systems (~30 employees)

Define, implement and execute long‑term strategies for growth, profitability and innovation in both sectors
Full P&L ownership, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning and risk management
Represent the companies with customers, partners and stakeholders nationally and internationally
Strengthen synergies between mechanical engineering and hydrogen technology activities
Build and develop leadership teams and organizational structures
Promote and reinforce a strong culture of safety, compliance and sustainability
