Webmaster

The school webmaster is accountable for maintaining current, relevant and accessible webpages for their identified school. In addition, the webmaster is responsible for posting school-related messages to social media (for the high school position, only the webpages are required).
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
A. Education and Experience:
High School Diploma required
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
B. Credentials:
Successful completion of a Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance
C. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Back and front-end experience building and managing websites;
Experience writing and editing the web;
Working knowledge of ADA compliance requirements related to websites;
Ability to build consensus and work effectively within various departments;
Ability to take initiative and assume responsibility, ownership and accountability;
Exemplary interpersonal communication skills;
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
Strong commitment to personal and professional growth and development; and
Experience working with diverse cultures and audiences
Essential Functions
Day-to-day management the school website;
Ensure school website pages are compliant as it relates to ADA;
Provides assistance to teachers in the creation and maintenance of their teacher websites;
Posts school-related messages to social media;
Posts messages to digital signage located within school;
Perform other related duties as required.
