Partner - Commercial LitigationI'm currently working with a premier, trial-focused litigation boutique that is looking to add a Commercial Litigation Partner to its growing Dallas office. The firm handles complex, high-exposure commercial and construction disputes across Texas and New York and is known for taking on matters where the financial and operational stakes are significant.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and lead complex commercial/construction litigation and arbitration matters from inception through resolution, trial, or final hearing.Formulate and execute aggressive, client-focused litigation strategies that align with complex business objectives.Draft high-level pleadings, motions, and briefs; conduct disciplined discovery and depositions for high-risk cases.Represent clients directly before state/federal courts and arbitration panels.Provide strategic counsel on risk mitigation, change order conflicts, and contract interpretations for a diverse roster of clients, including small businesses, multinational corporations, and developers.QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active, good-standing membership with the State Bar of Texas.7+ years of heavy construction litigation and/or arbitration experience, with a proven track record of handling complex construction disputes.Deep familiarity with Texas construction laws, lien and bond statutes, schedule/delay claims, and construction trust fund acts.Exceptional courtroom presence, writing skills, and a trial-focused mindset.A portable book of business is highly preferred; a strong desire to actively participate in firm growth and client development is essential.Salary and Other CompensationThe annual salary for this position is between $250,000 and $300,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
