Position Summary
The

National Account Manager

is responsible for achieving the desired utilization of the organization’s continuum of care through sales and marketing principles while maintaining strong relationships with key customers. The role supports national objectives, designs, creates, and delivers marketing programs to support expansion and growth of company services, products, and brand. It involves discussions related to a wide variety of issues for potential sales growth opportunities and future projects while managing a variety of digital assets, marketing campaigns, and digital touch points.

This position owns the development and implementation of strategies for target customer channels, maintains analytics, metrics, and campaign reporting on a national level, and is accountable for understanding budgeted referral calls and generating required budgeted admissions.

The National Account Manager executes the strategic sales plan within their assigned territory or facility, promotes the brand and image of either KidLink or the facility they represent, and drives departmental business development goals in a fast‑paced environment.

Hours
Hours are based on departmental and facility needs and may include day, evening, and weekend hours as directed by the department.

Responsibilities

Act as liaison between the facility and referral sources and implement service‑oriented action plans responsive to referral source needs, serve as a resource and representative to the community, and conduct facility tours to key stakeholders.

Assess, develop, and implement sales activities to achieve maximum market penetration among assigned accounts and to identify potential accounts in targeted market segments; develop and communicate appropriate sales messaging for each program offered and each target audience; monitor referral inquiries and admissions statistics daily; conduct ongoing analysis to ensure appropriateness and effectiveness of weekly sales action plans.

Identify and build a strategic sales plan for existing and potential referral sources within assigned territory and target markets; build and maintain positive and productive relationships with existing referral sources and identify additional referral sources.

Maintain documentation of assigned key accounts, contacts, planning reports, client profiles, competitive profiles, and update as required by the Sr. Divisional Director of Business Development; complete all required reports and requests for information in a timely manner.

Maintain current awareness of industry and anticipate changes or trends in target market; use this information to develop and modify weekly sales action plans and provide recommendations to overall business development planning strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required

3–5 years related experience required

Demonstrated business development concepts and sales abilities

Knowledge of and skills in application of marketing and sales principles

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Proficient in data collection, analysis, and interpretation

Competency in computer usage and Microsoft Office suite

Travel
80–90% local/regional.
