Job Overview
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated and experienced RN for the Emergency Room at Monmouth Medical Center. The RN will provide direct patient care for a diverse patient population including infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients in the ED.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department.

Perform triage and provide cardiac and trauma assessment.

Manage emergent situations and critical care patients.

Collaborate as an essential member of the ED team of physicians, RNs, and techs.

Qualifications

RN Degree

NJ RN License

At least one year current ED experience

BLS, ACLS & PALS (American Heart Association)

8 continuing education hours trauma education every 2 years required

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Preferred)

CEN Certification (Preferred)

Scheduling Requirements

Per Diem Day, Evening, Night shifts

Essential Functions

Caring for patients including infants, pediatric, adults and geriatric population in the ED, triage, and cardiac trauma.

Ability to deal with emergent situations and critical care patients.

Essential member of a dynamic team of ED physicians, RNs, and ED techs.
