Job Summary
As a Field Marketing Manager , you'll lead the execution of local marketing initiatives that bring our brands to life in your assigned territory. You'll be responsible for developing market strategies, building community partnerships, managing a high-performing Field Marketing Team, and executing impactful events, samplings, and retail activations that drive brand awareness and consumer engagement. This is a highly visible leadership role that combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams, distributor partners, and local stakeholders to deliver exceptional brand experiences while coaching and developing your team to achieve measurable business results. While primarily based within your assigned territory, occasional travel may be required to support business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a Field Marketing Team by recruiting, training, coaching, scheduling, and evaluating team performance.
Develop and execute local marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, consumer engagement, and retail presence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retail partners, community organizations, and local influencers to expand market reach.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee sampling events, consumer activations, retail demonstrations, and experiential marketing programs.
Ensure flawless execution of all brand standards, event logistics, merchandising, and promotional activities.
Collaborate with sales teams and distributor partners to support local business objectives and market growth.
Partner with internal marketing and social media teams to identify opportunities for local content creation, influencer partnerships, and real‑time brand storytelling.
Manage territory budgets, inventory, company assets, and marketing materials while ensuring accurate reporting through CRM systems.
Track program performance, analyze results, and provide recommendations that improve future marketing initiatives and team effectiveness.
Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures while representing the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in field marketing, experiential marketing, brand marketing, event marketing, or consumer engagement.
Previous experience leading, coaching, or managing field teams or brand ambassadors.
Demonstrated success executing consumer events, retail activations, sampling programs, or experiential marketing campaigns.
Experience building relationships with distributors, retailers, community partners, or local organizations.
Strong organizational, project management, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM or field reporting platforms (such as Repsly or similar).
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, field‑based environment.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, based on event and business needs.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
Ability to lift and transport marketing materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Compensation
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 annually
Bonus Potential: 10% annually
Auto Allowance: $250 monthly
Communication Allowance: $150 monthly
