Job Summary
The Professional Practices Group (PPG) Senior assists with administering the Firm’s Consulting Quality Management System. This includes assisting in the design and maintenance of quality control policies and procedures, implementing the procedures required, and testing for compliance with the applicable policies and procedures. The Senior will report to the Firm’s PPG Consulting Risk Management Leader.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development of the Firm’s consulting policies and procedures and their dissemination through training, manuals, memorandums, and other written communications.

Develop and maintain consulting‑related documents that contain the firm’s policies and procedures.

Assist with the development and maintenance of the Firm’s methodology used by the consulting practice.

Assist with the administration of the monitoring function of the Quality Management System, including participation during client acceptance processes, internal inspections, and any other reviews of engagement documentation.

Assist with consultations and communications with engagement teams on technical matters and methodology questions.

Assist in developing firm requirements and ensure that the Quality Management System provides associates with professional development activities in accordance with firm guidelines and in subjects that are relevant to their responsibilities.

Assistance with identifying and resolving independence issues related to the performance of non‑attest services for attest clients.

Assistance with firm or practice acquisition due diligence and assimilation.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in accounting; Masters degree in accounting or tax preferred.

2+ years recent experience in public accounting.

CPA certification preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid research skills, and the ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment.
