Rental & Leasing Sales Manager
The Rental & Leasing Sales Manager owns the day-to-day operations of Megger's direct rental and leasing business across North America, managing the rental/leasing life cycle. Everything from initial requests and quoting through order entry, contracts, renewals, and credits, while maximizing equipment utilization and ROI. As the primary customer contact, this role works cross‑functionally, both internally and with customers, to meet expectations and keep operations moving smoothly. Success requires a strong sense of urgency, financial and business acumen, a customer‑first mindset, and a genuine get‑it‑done attitude. The role demands professionalism under pressure, with about 20% travel for trade conferences and customer visits.
Main Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for direct rental & leasing
Process quotes, orders, invoices, and credits daily
Manage the full lifecycle of rental and lease agreements, including pricing, contract terms, renewals, credits, and returns
Answer and process customer calls/emails promptly and address questions and concerns in a professional manner
Develop and execute strategies to grow rental/lease revenue, including identifying new market segments, customer accounts, and product needs
Develop, grow, and maintain relationships with key customers and rental partners
Support cross‑functional collaboration with sales teams to engage customers and grow sales
Travel for industry events and customer visits (20%)
Oversee equipment utilization, balancing availability against demand to maximize asset ROI
Coordinate with operations, logistics, and demo teams to ensure equipment readiness, timely delivery, and pickup
Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and certifications
Analyze utilization rates, depreciation, and profitability metrics to inform fleet investment and disposal decisions
Negotiate rental and lease pricing, terms, and contracts in line with company margin targets
Stay current on industry trends, competitor pricing, and market conditions to inform strategy
Other duties as required

Qualifications:
BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, or related field, or 3‑5 years of related industry experience; 3‑5 years of technical sales experience (preferred)
Technical Skills/Knowledge:
Proficiency in CRM & ERP platforms; demonstrated experience of penetrating and growing accounts from entry level to executive level; experience in high‑voltage test & measurement equipment (preferred)
Financial/Business Acumen:
Lease‑to‑own rental agreements; ROI/Utilization analysis; billing and credits; fleet management & logistics understanding
