Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for day‑to‑day account management, including processing policies/endorsements, invoicing, issuance of certificates of insurance, claims reporting, premium breakdowns, auto ID cards, policy changes, review of policy forms, coverage comparisons, loss analysis, and answering coverage questions.
Your Impact Build courteous and successful relationships with clients, vendors, and carriers to improve client retention.
Identify gaps in coverage and advise the client.
Manage the renewal process: order updated loss information, obtain updated information, handle renewal applications, renewal marketing, account rounding, review and negotiate renewal pricing, and prepare renewal proposals and binders.
Review internal compliance, client disclosure requirements, policies, endorsements, and certificates to ensure alignment with client expectations and legal requirements.
Assist in growing the book of business through account rounding and referrals.
Document renewal, sales, and insurance operations compliance documents into the sales management database and agency management system.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Knowledge of insurance coverages, contracts, and state regulations where business is conducted.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and ability to create, edit, and merge letters, spreadsheets, labels, etc.
Proficient knowledge of office equipment (copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machine, etc.).
5+ years of experience in the insurance industry or a related field.
College degree in a business‑related field (preferred).
Experience with Applied Epic (preferred).
Valid State‑Issued P&C Insurance license.
