Transmission Project Engineer

The Transmission Project Engineer will be responsible for the technical aspects and deliverables of transmission line projects, executing design tasks, and guiding junior team members.

Responsibilities

Conduct analyses to develop design options.

Perform PLS-CADD modeling and calculations.

Assist with preparing cost estimates or specifications.

Perform routine engineering and design tasks.

Participate in field reviews or construction observation.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position (e.g., PE or P.Eng).

Previous experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.

Computer skills in Microsoft Office and standard Power Market Sector design software (PLS-CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Revit).

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering.

Minimum three years of experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.

Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm.

Experience or interest in sustainable design/LEED (desired but not required).

The expected compensation range for this position depends on skills, experience, education and geographic location. In Minnesota, the salary range is $84,672.00 – $120,960.00.
