Engineering Tech Specialist

Job Summary
MOR PPM Inc. seeks an Engineering Tech Specialist in Cross, SC. This candidate must have at least 5 years of engineering experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Complete data analysis on coal inventory

Analyze and inspect the plant heat rating

Perform numerous miscellaneous engineering services on selected power plant materials and machines

Qualifications

At least five years in a lead engineering role

Committed to safety at all times

Excellent attendance

Physical Requirements / Job Site Requirements

Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSign

Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds

Must possess sufficient strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above

Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas

Must have full range of motion consistent with age

Must be able to climb and maintain balance on ladders

Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises

Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with those required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces

Safety/Steel toe shoes are required
