This is a respected, growth-stage advisory firm operating at the crossroads of healthcare innovation, market access, and life sciences strategy. They are looking to bring on a hands‑on technology and innovation leader who can set the vision and then roll up their sleeves to build it. This is a newly shaped seat at the leadership table, created to help the organization put data, technology, and applied AI to work in service of stronger client outcomes, sharper operating performance, and long‑term growth.
Early on, this is a hands‑on role for an individual contributor who is comfortable owning strategy and execution at the same time. As the initiative matures, there's a clear runway to grow a team and formalize the function. The right person will move fluidly between boardroom strategy conversations and hands‑on prototyping, and will bring genuine curiosity about how emerging technology reshapes a services business.
Candidates who know the healthcare/life‑sciences advisory space well are a natural fit, but we are equally open to strong technology and innovation leaders from adjacent professional services backgrounds.
This position reports to the CEO, and will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to dive internal and external technology enablement and digital transformation.
Primary Responsibilities: Own the technology and innovation roadmap end-to-end, connecting it directly to growth, margin, and competitive-edge goals.
Scan emerging AI and data-driven capabilities, then build the business case and metrics that prove innovation work is moving the business.
Partner across consulting, operations, and commercial teams to find where technology unlocks efficiency, scale, or quality.
Set up lightweight governance that lets the organization experiment freely while still managing risk and compliance.
Identify and build differentiated, tech-enabled offerings — from early concept through prioritization, launch, and scale.
Stay hands-on, working directly with internal teams and outside partners to take ideas from whiteboard to reality.
Ground every innovation bet in real client needs and market demand, not just what's technically possible.
Represent the firm's technology and innovation story to clients, prospects, and partners, and support business development with a clear tech-enabled value proposition.
Sit at the executive table for growth strategy and technology investment decisions, and help build the firm's reputation as a genuine innovator.
Drive adoption and change management across the organization — building consensus, earning trust, and leading cross-functional initiatives in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.
Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or software development, or a related field is preferred; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.
8+ years of involvement with technology innovation, digital transformation, product strategy, or technology-enabled services.
A track record of leading transformation work that produced measurable growth, efficiency gains, or a real competitive edge.
Experience building and executing innovation strategy inside professional services, healthcare, life sciences, consulting, or a related industry.
Fluency in AI, analytics, automation, and how emerging technology solves real business problems.
A proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and move organizations through change.
Strong communication and executive presence. This person will represent innovation at the leadership table.
