Producer Services Director - Hybrid Schedule

The Producer Services Director is responsible for identification, acquisition, administration, contracting and management of suppliers. The Director is accountable to provide the necessary services required by Exploration & Production Companies, including nominations & scheduling, imbalance management, reporting requirements, systems required to manage the portfolio and all necessary services a producer services business require. This role is to provide leadership and direction that results in a reliable and least cost natural gas supply portfolio.

Responsibilities
Supply Leadership

Develop clear vision, goals, objectives, systems & processes for the services required in a producer services business that support company goals and objectives.

Develop vision, goals and objectives to contract with a portfolio of Exploration & Production companies, building a healthy portfolio of suppliers that support company goals and objectives.

Build strong relationships within MPG and with suppliers to achieve supply goals

Build strong relationships with all departments within MPG and its subsidiaries to ensure effective communication, teamwork, and decision making

Develop and Implement weather normalization process for supplier production

Develop and Implement producer services pricing

Provide regular review of pricing models to assure profitability and improvement

Implement a strategy for the supply of natural gas to examine and improve key processes used every day

Provide regular review of supply sources to identify areas for improvement

Develop and execute strategies to drive optimum supply portfolio

Provide a regular feedback strategy for the department to evaluate results and make improvement

Develop clear departmental strategies to achieve measurable and financial goals

Manage P&L to meet or exceed budget goals

Create high impact reporting

Provide relevant reports and presentations to executive management to help drive successful decision making for the company in the future

Create clear, timely, and accurate reports with direct reports to effectively assess and improve performance

Coordinate activities related to gas accounting including gas purchase payment, gas gathering invoicing, and transporter invoicing.

Present monthly and quarterly gas supply plans with Gas Operations

Optimization and Execution

Oversee department with objective of lowest daily cost

Challenge procurement rules assuring lowest daily supply cost and transportation costs

Collaborating with sales to achieve optimal margins and sales for Mansfield

Work with risk department and operations to guarantee all information is captured within the MPG system of record

Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification

Bachelor's degree required

MBA preferred

Knowledge & Experience

Ten+ years of leadership experience in producer services, including strong knowledge of gas operations, gas control & system flow parameters, energy risk management, forecasting & modeling, and pipeline tariffs.

General knowledge of regressions and forecasting

Advanced management skills

Excellent communication skills (presentation, written & verbal)

Self-motivated, high level of initiative and strong judgment

Strong project and time management skills

Strong analytical skillsStrong business planning skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Work Environment

Hybrid Work Environment - 3 days in office, 2 days remote

Sitting for extended periods of time

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components
