Transmission Engineer

We’re looking for a

Transmission Engineer

to join our growing powertrain engineering team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about transmission design, performance evaluation, and cutting-edge automotive technologies.

What You’ll Do

Design and develop transmission systems using

Siemens NX .

Evaluate and benchmark

CVT, Dual Clutch, and Torque Converter Automatic Transmissions

for automotive and 4WD applications.

Define and track objective performance metrics such as

shift quality, response time, efficiency, and drivability , and correlate them with subjective ride and shift feel.

Create and execute detailed

test plans , including test conditions, instrumentation, data collection, and analysis.

Support customers in reviewing and validating supplier transmission solutions against defined performance targets.

Analyze transmission test data, identify performance gaps, and recommend improvements in

calibration, hardware, or control strategies .

Collaborate closely with

vehicle integration, powertrain, and dynamics teams

to ensure optimal performance, durability, and user experience.

Document evaluation methods and contribute to internal and customer transmission development guidelines.

✅ What We’re Looking For

Strong experience in

transmission design and evaluation

Hands-on expertise with

NX

Solid understanding of automatic transmission technologies

Excellent analytical, testing, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Automotive or off-highway powertrain experience preferred
