Front End Developer

Tentative date of joining: As soon as client selects.

Duration of Hiring: 3 months. Location: Offshore/Onsite Onsite. Years of Experience: 8+.

Job Description: Front End Developer (PHP + Backbone.js) with the following required and preferred skills.

Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms

Knowledge of HTTP

Experience with PHP

Experience with Linux

Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

Experience with jQuery and AJAX

Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries including Backbone, Underscore etc.

Experience with CSS preprocessors like LESS, SASS

Web App security best practices

Knowledge of development tools including Git, Jenkins, Hudson.

Unit testing frameworks such as Mocha or Jasmine for JavaScript

Familiar with Apache, nginx servers

Mandatory skills: HTML5, CSS3, PHP 5.x and Backbone.js

Good to have skills: SASS

Work Location: New York

Need profiles with strong front end experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Backbone.js with some exposure to PHP. The candidate should be able to pick up more PHP if needed on the job.
