An exciting opportunity exists for a high-performing Business Development Manager to join an international Irish economic development agency at its Atlanta office. This role focuses on the Financial Services sector, supporting foreign direct investment (FDI) efforts across 11 U.S. states.
The successful candidate will lead client engagement strategies, work with C-level executives, and collaborate closely with global teams to deliver impactful investment projects. You’ll play a key role in helping international companies scale in Europe through Ireland’s globally recognized financial services hub.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and win new investment opportunities from financial services companies
Develop and manage relationships with senior executives and decision-makers
Represent Ireland’s value proposition in financial services to U.S.-based clients
Coordinate strategic marketing visits, industry events, and site evaluations
Ideal Candidate:
You must have strong ties to Ireland or previously lived in Ireland.
Proven track record in business development, preferably in FDI or international trade
Strong communication and executive relationship-building skills
Experience in the financial services or investment sectors
Degree in a business-related field (minimum Level 8 or equivalent)
Willing to travel extensively and work flexible hours
